Door Panels:
I am planning to paint the door panels black with my "black AntiHeat spray paint " from autoparts store. I wanted to know how long will the paint last and if it will effect the material(Leather).
Reason why I ask: I wanted to paint it because almost the whole part of my car is black except my door panels which is a beige/brown color that makes it look bad.
Roof light bulb:
in the middle of the roof in the inside of the car is a oval or rectangular lamp which illuminates with the door open and has a off/on/light setting. Well the Bulb died and I Need a new one but in Neon blue or blue.
Reason why I ask: I want to know were I can get one because they dont sell it in the local autoparts stores and I dont know the "model name". a link would be nice.

Why on earth would you use engine/exhaust paint when there are interior paints made especially for that? Duplicolor and SEM are just two of the many companies who make it.
please dont paint your interior. Your going to regret it. What you should do is save up your money and purchase custom color fabric and wrap your door. Or go to an upholsterer and pay them to do it. I had a seat on my Quadracer 250r done in custom yellow and it cost me 30 bucks. It was fake leather, but it still lasted a really long time.
Paint will start to crack and peel if not properly painted and you will eventually have it crack anyways from heat. Its going to dry the leather out and ruin it. Once you push the top of the spray can theres no going back.
If he REALLY wants to paint his interior, he could have looked at my DIY in the DIY Sticky thread.

my camry in the back seat has two leather side peices that I painted black with "Advance Autoparts Anti heat spray paint for engines" and I guess it is good in one way because it protects it from sun light.
The other special interior paint cans run about 10 bucks a peice. So I used that and it actually did not come out that bad. I will post pictures.

UV damage and heat damage aren't the same things. Also, paint for inflexible metal is different than paint for flexible interior parts. It's going to look terrible in a year.

Well, if you were already determined to use it on your door panels as well, why'd you bother asking?
Don't paint, I painted my leather steering, biggest mistake I've done.
Did you follow my DIY? They hold up GREAT if you do it right.

Kind of, when I tried to patch the tears, it got uneven, but didn't notice until I painted it.
It might not be that bad, but the smallest imperfections drives me crazy.
