Clutch slave rod modified to work 1993 se v6

I had to cut a heavy duty bolt longer and round it off just to get my clutch to engage. I tried adjusting out the pedel adjuster and it only engages at the bottom of the travel. If I adjust it down
it does not engage the clutch and will not go in gear.

2 new master cylinders
1 new slave
1 new clutch exedy
Hours of bleeding at both bleeders no leaks

I am starting to wonder if it's fork pivot. Fully pushed out but not engaging the pressure plate the fork end where the slave rod goes is about halfway across the hole. Could someone check theirs to
see where the fork sits when rested? Or chime in with info.

Sounds like a bent fork or a bad pressure plate, or maybe a bad flywheel. Was the flywheel resurfaced?

Pressure plate
Was surfaced and the clutch and pressure plate is new and gripping well.

Flywheel was resurfaced. Sorry. New exedy clutch and pp.

Also the fork on the v6 is pretty beefy so I am not sure if it can be bent. Does the pivot wear bad enough though??

How many miles on the trans? The clutch fork contacts could have rounded off a bit...

But that's less likely. I would look at the pressure plate/flywheel. I had the same problem you are having, but also the pedal would be kinda stuck to the floor (as if there was air in the lines) and it turned out to be the machine shop took too much material off the flywheel. So I got a new one and problem solved!

you sure you got all the air out of the clutch? I spent 5 hours bleeding a 2000 ford focus one day because I couldn't find the power bleeder. You bleed the clutch just like a brake. Push the pedal in and have a helper open it up. Keep repeating until theres no air bubbles

Mergy time. You don't need a new thread for this.

Sorry about the double post.

Posting from iPhone. This car has been bled until it has bled it's own blood. Lol. I have bled it a couple days in a row and now it sounds like it's not pushing air out (don't have clear tubing).
