Radio Volume Fluctuates While Driving - 2000 Camry After-Market Radio Install

I purchased an after-market Clarion radio to install in my 2000 Toyota Camry. I bought a wiring harness and soldered the wires appropriately. Everything works great when not driving, including the tuner. When driving, the volume occasionally (as in not constantly, but multiple times per trip) drops out when using the tuner. This does not occur when playing a CD, using the USB/iPod connection, or using the AUX input. I haven't been able to clearly distinguish if it occurs when accelerating, braking or when turning, but it seems to be one of those. My guess is that it is related to the voltage delivered to the antenna, but I can't seem to find a way to fix it. Any advice?
