I prefer the S2000 conversion over the OEM power antenna!

I used a universal from Pep Boys $39 and you cannot tell the difference in appearance or functionality. It came with several angled pieces to fit the contour and other than that it was 100% identical to the OEM version...just not the Toyota price.

SCREW powered antennas. Bought this sucker for like $10 at autozone.

Do the little rubber ones give anything away to the much longer silver ones for reception ?
I'd likely go the rubber antenna route, but I wonder if the silver ones at double the length produce better reception ? Anyone switch and see a difference ?

With the S2000 swap, AM reception suffers apparently. For the rubber one that I posted, I didn't notice any difference... but I didn't ever listen to AM. Can't go wrong for $10.00 though.
