Tight enough to not leak but not enough to strip the threads. What is with all the obsessing over torque specs? There are actually very few things that the exact torque makes any difference.

But to keep the annal retentive among us happy here ya go Torque: 29 N·m (300 kg·cm, 21 ft·lb)

Thanks very much - what is the obsession!? I've recently over-torqued a bolt on my Benz recently and caused myself all kinds of additional work... now I'm more cautious.

After you read enough of the ridiculous torque spec requests you will see what I mean. I mean do you really need an exact torque value for a battery terminal clamp? Or maybe a license plate bolt? If you find you are stripping or breaking a lot of bolts. Stop trying to prove how strong you are or instead of using a 1/2" ratchet use a 3/8" they are usually shorter so less torque. If you find your bolts and/or nuts loosening use a longer wrench.
