I just hit a milestone in my Gen4

I've owned her for about a year and a half and put more than 30k on her. I get a routine 25 mpg on 89 pump gas and she runs fantastic.

Thanks Toyota for making a quality product.

I aspire to reach your milestone someday on this baby! I could bet even the engineering team that created this Gen 3 camry may not have anticipated it last THIS LONG ha ha

Whatever you do, do not discuss how well/how many miles your car has with people outside of T/N.

Reason why is because sometimes people start ooowing and surprised that a car has done this or that...then something goes wrong LOL.

Yeah, my car came from up north and has some rust issues that I need to address before too long, it's just been too cold and and I've been lazy.

Thankfully, nothing. I changed the timing belt and tensioners, water pump and plugs about a week after I got it and haven't really done any maintenance besides oil changes to it since then. I had an EGR problem about a year ago, but I just disconnected a vacuum line going to it and the stutter that it was having, went away. Oil changes have been the only maitainace I have done to it. I gave it a few minor mods but it's been the best $1500 car I've ever had.

By the way I have a Gen 4.5, V6-MT.

Same as my 1998, sometimes--when not under the hot summer--makes even better than 32 on the road. That is what i like I4, got used to slow 1st and 2nd speeds. Do not need more, and i use 93 octane; despite some rebels believe is not worth it. Also Seafoam on the fuel tank at months intervals.
