Purchased some parts off ebay...

So I did some research and found some replacement parts for my vehicle. It's a 95 camry and a couple issues it has is the notorious stiff steering and mostly is intermittent based on the temperature outside. So I purchased an aftermarket intermediate steering shaft...this was $80 USD including free shipping.

I also purchased a fuel filler neck as when I was under the car last, my mechanic pointed out that mine was all rusted out. I would have to eventually replace it and this guy happened to be selling both parts I needed. I picked up an aftermarket fuel filler neck for $70 USD.

I paid shipping to my door including tax, 170 USD...is this a good deal for both parts? I called the dealer and they wanted over 700 for the parts plus tax..that is original stuff though..

Is it worth putting original components for these two specific parts?

fuel neck: no, after market is fine $70 is in the middle price wise. half shaft, It depends on the quality of the after market part, the dealer wants far too much for them, but it is a rather important part, and I can tell you from personal experience that it is a bit unsettling when one fails. The one that failed on me happened to be original though.
