whats up toyota nation! i own a 2000 toyota camry in green i am thinking of putting some 99-2005 lexus IS alloy rims on it. does anyone have a 4th gen camry on IS rims? or can someone do me a huge favor and photoshop them on the pic i provided so i can get a good look of it? and what do you guys think of IS rims on then 4th gen camry?
I know there are caliper clearance issues for the gen 3 4cyl.. reason being the rotors up front are smaller and as a result, they touch the rim wall. Spacers helped it, but for a FWD car, spacers aren't recommended. Not sure if this is an issue for the gen 4.. it wouldn't hurt to test it out though. I don't see the rear being an issue though.
Thanks guys! And I believe the Camry and the IS bolt Pattern are both 5x114.3 but the Camry offset range is 38-45 as with the IS it's offset range is 38-48. So with that being so it should fit right?
This is heng1028's Camry. (Am I allowed to do this? ) He fitted his 99 camry with no spacers can claimed that it doesn't rub at all. Also, most IS wheels used Toyota's washer-style lug nuts but some did used the acorn lugs with a 60 degree seat.

That is exa exactly how I want my Camry sitting on those is rims! I'm really digging the look! Now the tough part is finding those rims.
