Can anyone tell me why theres a red wire running from my fuel pump to what looks to be the ingition wire under the dash?? Did the relay go bad and somebody just wired it to the key??
The best thing to do is find out why it is there, and fix the problem instead of just rigging it to work. If you need a wiring schematic or the trouble shooting for the fuel pump I'm sure some one on here has them for a Gen3, they could "loan" you. I would but only have a Gen4 FSM.

True true. I figure the relay must be bad and is probally pretty cheap to replace. so i guess I'll unhook the wire and put a new relay in it and see what happens.
I would have never hot wired it to begin with! I bealive if your gonna do something do it the right way!
