Question Well, its been awhile, but i have a few questions again.

I havent logged on here, in awhile. Forgot about it to be honest

Well, after my fathers Mazda had his engine go at 200k, im up to 271K, and it burns and leaks oil like no other.. I'm starting to consider doing a swap. Doesn't have the best amount of power anymore, But I've replaced so much on this car besides the engine, including everything on the front end, spindle, hubs, bearings, etc. New suspension.. But i do have a Question..
I have the 1mzfe with an auto transmission.. how hard would it be to swap to a 4cyl/ if even possible..
Otherwise, any tips from other camry owners?

You will punch yourself in the face if you switch from a 1mz to a 5s....just find another 1mz w/ less miles, gasket it and drop it in....Call it done....

You could swap a 5s into it, but your going to need a 5s wiring harness, ECU, transmission, axles, Motor mounts. Your going to pay just as much for a 1mz motor compared to buying everything to swap a 5s motor
