4th Generation

The easiest way as these Gen 4 Camry have that problem is to fill and put caulking all around, let it dry for a couple of days, then check if needed more, then sand if necessary, then paint all around including the base of the switch.

Gen 3's usually have a bracket that breaks off. I wish I had a diagram or picture to show you. Super glue is the easy fix there.

If you are talking about a generation 4 Camry (1997-2001), read my posts in this thread.

Any easy solutions to fix this?

Mike

4th Generation

I tried all of that on my 1998 before and had to go back always to fix it again. The caulking was the one that made the permanent fix. It has been like that for over two years now without problems; and as I was planning to paint the switch base anyway, it came all at once perfectly.

Lol this is the same problem as me.

Ignore it That's the best way to deal with it.
