3rd Generation What's the difference between these Depo lamps?

Besides the price. Or to put it another way, what does the "crystal" version do for me that the other one doesn't?

Also, what about this set? Seems the same as the second link?

Aside from the price, and whoever is selling them...nothing. They should all be the same.

So Amazon has 3 prices for the identical item? Not that I don't believe you, but, uh, why?

I agree, they should all be the same, (check eBay too by the way), I put a set in my Camry 2 years ago. They do look pretty good. The fit is not great, but it's what you can expect for aftermarket. Don't expect great light either, the beam is not great.

Yeah, they're all the same. Amazon does that sometimes, it's their listing systems thinking they're different items because a small detail might be different about them, but in actuality they're all the same.

Thanks guys. Unless someone can point me to these lamps available somewhere in Canada, I'll jump on these (Amazon will ship these to me).

Hmm fit not great? That gives me pause. I am not concerned about the bulbs I'll put better ones in. Ebay has them for about the same price but higher shipping.

Fitment varies, sometimes a set comes that is perfect, other times SLIGHTLY off. honestly, i've never had any real problem with the... ten or so sets i've handled.

Mine have gaps top and bottom, don't align with the corner marker lamps and in order to get the beam alignment right on the passenger side headlight, the edge near the grill sticks out past the edge of the grill by nearly half inch. Maybe I just got a bad set?........... Oh, yea, the bulbs that were included were the crappy blue glass bulbs, the ones that blind everybody with glare and shine eye-straining blue "crappiest of all" light. I threw them straight in the trash can and put in Sylvania "True view". The light pattern is scattered and the high beams don't shine very far down the road. IMO, they're really only for up-grading looks, not lighting. Don't get me wrong, they are usable, you can drive at night with them, but they look better than they function.

Even OEM, there are gaps on the bottom where it meets the bumper. The top, there's a gap? That I've never heard of since there's weather sealing from the hood to meet the headlights. The edge near the grill sticking out can easily be adjusted back so it fits nicely. The part about not aligning with corner lamps, the OEM ones have a gap too.. but idk, without picture I can't say for sure, maybe you did get a bad set

Most people don't know how to align the headlights. You've got two knobs for adjusting that. Yes, it also aims the beam.

I wouldn't be to concerned with the fitment. DEPO, IMO, has the best fitment, and quality. I put a TYC corner lamp on my 98 sienna just so that both sides would match. One side had a "frosted" lens(OEM), and the other was clear(DEPO). The DEPO fit is very good, and the other...well, it's stock, so it fits perfect.

In hind sight I should have just bought another OEM lamp, because the new TYC lamp just isn't good quality. It's lens has many imperfections around the edge, and there's a HUGE gap between it, and the headlight. I know I should have returned it, and got a refund, but I just didn't want to deal with it anymore.

Anyway, DEPO is a good brand. Go for it.

............I known how to adjust headlights. If the passenger side light is adjusted in to fit right with the grill, the beam shines over on the center line.
