My problem now... theres this additional hose thats on the intake hose. But i don't know where that runs to. Please anyone with a 96 camry please check.. and let me know. heres some pics i took..
so that are right there on the right side.. theres suppose to be a hose... where does it connect to?
PCV is the tube coming off the valve cover.
Don't know where the IAC is located on the Camry. Probably on a firewall or fenderwall. Someone else can answer that.
IAC is located under the throttle body but right where the intake meets the throttle body. That thing you see is the place where you would connect the "air hose from the air cleaner hose". Its only on CA emission cars. I dont know how important this is.
Edit: Off topic question, but were you able to pass smog with a SRI in CA? What about CAI?
Youre not going to get ionstant answers, cool your jets.
I don t think its the IAC, i could be wrong. check both.
Yeah, I'm not sure either. Just speaking in general terms as to what vacuum lines utilize the intake tube on a normally aspirated engine.
Judging by the diameter of the tube, I would say most likely the PCV.
