Having a Hard time starting the engine

I am currently having a hard time starting up my 94 v6 camry. Everytime when i start the car i have to step on the accelerator otherwise, the car would take forever to start. Once the engine started I need to bring up the RPM otherwise it could die out.

I brought it to the shop, the guy told me it could be an unclean idle air control valve. So, I went to canadiantire bought some carburetor cleaner and cleaned it still no affect. I phone the shop again and he told me to do a terraclean. So right now i am still considering on doing that.

If anyone had encounter the same problem plz help me out here. thx

You might need to disassemble the IAC to properly clean it. Clean the throttle body while your in there, and check your air filter.
