97 Camry LE, 2.2, Slight misfire at idle only in drive.

So I just picked up a 97 camry. 134k on it. I am having a slight misfire at idle. Only when in drive at light and the brake is on. As soon as I put it in park, the idle is perfect. But as soon as its in any gear, the idle is steady, but then misses ever few seconds. I am hearing a air leaking sound, from the engine bay, every time it does it. I have checked all vacuum lines. maybe pcv? I know plugs and wires could be it, but personally, I have never solved any automotive problems by replacing plugs and/or wires.

Thanks,
Anthony

Spray some starting fluid around the intake manifold and vacuum lines to confirm a vacuum leak.

Run injector cleaner

Sea-foam the intake

Tune up is a very common cause for slight misfires. Plugs get carbon build up and have a slight foul to them. Also your plug wires can slightly arc onto the valve cover to create a slight misfire. If you have no CEL though, I would just run injector cleaner and seafoam the intake. Sounds to me like one of your injectors may have a little gunk on them that you can only feel in a lower RPM since the car is in drive.
