Well I have 93 v6 with the 3vz-fe and was wondering what turbos would be best suited for a low boost (5-12)psi would be good. I am trying to do this on the cheap so only looking for ones that come on cars factory that would be big enough and not to small.
Ct26 seems like a good choice and lots of them. Just make sure you get one from a supra
Holset hx series. Not sure which one would be suited to our size engine.
Please feel free to list any you could think of that would work with the v6 platform.

Man, you keeping stock internals? 12 PSI is going to blow you apart unless you get detonation sorted and a really good tune....
Ct26 is a pretty terrible match for our engine, even on a big housing i imagine it would spool very early and run out of guts quickly.
Gonna just be running the stock internals while rebuilding a extra block with forged pistons. Just trying to get everything up and going and tune with piggy back and dial it all in first
Baby steps here guys not new turbos. I can get those anywhere if pockets are fat.
So everyone wants to see what a stock 3vzfe can handle. Lol
Should be welding the plx Wideband cat bypass asap. Already have all parts. Picked up a plx on CL for $80.
My advice... buy yourself a used t3/04 hybrid and get it refurbed.

forgot about the 3vz being awesome part... Would still recomend leanring how to read compressor maps, its not that hard and its useful in th elong term anyway. t3/t4 is still way too small for a 3L V6
have a look at what RB30 guys do for aftermarket bigger turbos...

unless your running a manual tranny, or perform expensive upgrades to the auto, the extra power the 3vz can handle is moot. youll be able to get about 250whp out of the tranny before it starts to have problems. the ONLY reason anyone gets away with it is either because they know how to drive it, which is a PITA or they rarely use boost. the gen4 has an electronic boost controller for the TRD supercharger, but no such thing exists for teh gen3.
and the key word you need to work on here...is the word "cheap". 99.99999% of the "cheap" builds, last for maybe a year before serious problems cause the death of the car. you dont want to cheap out on tranny or tuning...thoes are the MOST important parts of adding power to a camry.
In my world, all 3VZ's are manual. But yes, Bird is right.

Relax max....it has the 5sp with fresh exedy clutch and pp kit. Like I said baby steps here I have 4 other cars. My 86 Conquest gets most of my attention right now just stocking up on parts. Go search my name starquest and you will see I am worthy. Lol
I have pics but just got the old motor and tranny back in and running.
Will get the test pipe with Wideband in first before pics. Tune with cog and timing na. See how used Wideband performs with cog and timing then go from there.
^ Sounds exactly like my first steps when I grab a 3vz. Best of luck, man. I'm jealous.

cheap builds can be done corretly as long as your platform is solid to start with. i did a cheap build for one of my cars spent under a grand and im happy with it. all it needs now is new rings.
