Noob Question...I've seached and no difinitive answer...

2000 Camry V-6 LE...I need to replace an O2 sensor (or an A/F sensor - whatever) on Bank 1 Sensor 1...

How do I determine if my car is a California emissions car...it does have a Cali sticker up under the hood, but is there a definitive way...maybe by the VIN?

as long as it is the stock hood it will be listed next to the vaccum diagram under the hood. you can also look for the precat on each bank of the y-pipe.

nope it doesn't

you should have a sticker under hood stating the engine model, intake & exhaust valve clearances and emission specs compliance (if there is no word "California" then it's federal).
