97-99 vs 00-01 Headlights

Looking at headlights here http://www.andysautosport.com/toyota/1997_2001_camry/lights/headlights/ and trying to figure whats the difference in 97-99 vs 00-01 Headlights. The ones that they sell for 00-01 are clear and 97-99 are not. Is there a difference in shape and size?

The 99-02 headlights are wider and have separate DRLs compared to the 97-98.

If your car is a 98, then get the 98 headlights. There ARE depos available for those years so you can still get a nicer looking headlight than the ones you have now. Also, if you want to switch to 00-01 headlights, you'll need to change out a lot more than the headlights, including the bumper.

Im looking for some good lights for my 98... I would like some black ones but I cannot find them anywhere. Do you guys have any ideas on that? I was also wondering about putting some 00-01's that I found. Glad I didnt now tho since I see they would not have worked...

Same place. Ebay has black ones too. The depo pictures are generic but if the description says black that is what you'll get

My 99 is stock and does not have separate lights for the DRL's. The DRL's are the low beam dimmed by a resistor.
