4th Generation 3ZV-FE blew HG maybe...read on pls

Ok a few of you may know my predicament. I overheated, thus blew something HG, head? theres a LOT of water in the oil. IM dismantling ATM to examine the heads etc.
Ive been offered another 3VZ engine from a 95(i think) vienta, he will remove it, hoist it onto the ute for me for 300 bucks. To me it seems i cant go wrong. The oil looks clean, etc. Only problem its been sitting there for over six months. Can inner workings seize up in that period of time. I'm only really after a set of heads, and any other internal components that may be in good condition.
What's your opinions please guys?
thanx
Matt
