Help Finding a PArt 1999 Camry LE 2.2

Hello guys I am new here, can anyone tell me here I can find the "pigtail" or conector for the coolant temperature sensor. I called a dealer today and they said I need to buy the whole harness set for $549.00 they must be on crack!

right now I am getting no temperature reading cause the pigtail does not make contact with the sensor.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try a salvage yard. Make sure it looks the same as your's. Cut it off the salvage vehicle and splice it in to your car. It should be just 2 wires. Shouldn't cost more than $5 at a pick and pull.

The OEM part number for the connect to the Coolant Temp Sensor is 90980-10737(MSRP is $11.03). It will come without any wires. It is a 2 pin connector, so if you want the repair wire, you'll need 2) 82998-12620($24.38 each MSRP).

Take that to your local Dealer and have them order up what you need.

All it took was a bit of time to look at the Electrical Wiring Diagram. They either didn't know how, or didn't want to bother. Either way, the above numbers are what you're looking for.

Hope it helps.

Gary:

If we want to order parts from you, do we have to send you a PM or can we go online to order from you?

Thanks,

Dave

Dave and other Members as well,
You can PM me, but the best way is to email me at garys@toyotaofnewnan.com or you can call me directly at 678-854-9601. If you go to our web site, you can do a Parts Request, but make it to my attention and Please let me know that you are a ToyotaNation member.

Just for all to see and know, I offer 30% off MSRP and I only charge actual shipping costs plus a couple of dollars to cover materials, etc. When I say a couple of dollars I mean $2.00.

More importantly, I do offer advice, information, etc. So don't hesitate to contact me.
