3rd Generation JDM Engine and Transmission Swap

Let me start by saying hello to all TN members!

I have looked through several posts about JDM swaps for a 3rd gen 5s-fe. I have seen many for sale through ebay and they look exactly like mine.

My Question is other than swapping wiring harness from the US version and the removal of the Reverse from the donor, is there anything I would need to purchase, modify, or swap to make this work.

I dont want a tuner I just need a reliable work car.

Any help is much appriciated.

BE CAREFUL. A 3s-fe is NOT a 5s-fe. I see a lot of companies try to sell 3s-fe's as direct replacements for 5s-fe's.

Good point I should have thought about that a little better.

I think I have seen a couple of the 3s-fe. If they have the 2200 on them I think I should be ok.

Ask for the VIN number on the engine block, and run the VIN. Trust me. You can never be too careful.
