Fuel Gauge not working on 92' Camry CSi Sedan

I just bought a 1992 Toyota Camry CSi Ltd Sedan a week ago. I found out that my Fuel gauge isn't working. After filling up a full tank of fuel, the fuel gauge needle still shows well below empty. I need to know what to do to solve the problem and how to go about solving it. Help is much appreciated!

check your fuses if all good there time to take a look at the sending unit, lift up the back seat (bottom part) and you should see a black access panel remove that and disconnect the connector there, and test the sending unit (search the site for how your going to need a ohm meter (or mulitmeter)) good there you need a new cluster or there wiring issues, bad then your going to have to get a new sending unit where to install that disconnet the gas lines and remove the panel there and pull it out it going to be a unit thing with the sending unit and fuel pump, if your going this far also pick up a new strainer screen and if you want to spend the money a fuel pump too (might as well since you got it out)
