yup, a little whiter than stock halogen bulbs, much stronger though (manufacturer claims 80% brighter and wider angle). stock H4 bulbs suck, I never liked them because of poor light beam visibility at night.

in end result lots depends on the condition of your lenses, if they are very old (original) and/or foggy and/or hazed than you may get yellowish color than the end result will vary greatly.

I just got mine today. I'll try to get some comparison pictures from my stock and the philips x-treme power bulbs. They're very well packaged and it says they're made in Germany if that means anything to you haha

I can vouch for that. When I first drove the camry home from LA to my home (23 miles of traffic), I couldn't see crap in front of me.

After I changed the bulb to these and used a lens restoring kit, it improved lighting by 10x.

But from time to time, I take out my FX out at night since it has HIDs and foglights. It also gives me three levels of dispersion whenever I need it. I guess I got too used to it so I feel "incomplete" whenever I take the camry out at night.

I know what you mean exactly hehe ... I have HIR bulbs (9012 in 9006 low beam) on 02 solara ... oh boy, I love them it's said HIR bulbs give around 75% of HID light output and they do not lie

I had HID conversion kit (4300K) on wife's 00 Solara and it was actually a pain to come back to H4 bulbs ... if not the Hid kit glare problem (up to 2nd floor high) I would stay with them ... I can't understand why they can't make dual filament HIR bulb finally for H4 application ...

... actually first designs of HIR H4 are out there, but they look cheesy and are made by some exotic companies. it so far looks like this (I wouldn't get it, it doesn't carry anti-glare shield):

there was some discussion (negative) about it on BITOG:
