How warm do your 3VZs run?

Is it just me or do these things run kinda cool? If the temps are 50F or below mine won't get near the middle of the temperature gauge range unless I'm going uphill, and it usually sits around 1/4. The only way I can get it to consistently stay warm'ish is to use a full grill block, otherwise it runs cold and the air from the heater is tepid at best.

Mine runs with the needle just a scosche below being centered between the hot and cold marks. Sounds to me like the thermostat in yours needs to be replaced.

Mine is just a tad below the middle of the gauge, its about 3/8s up the gauge.

That sounds like it used to run, so it must be staying open too long. Thanks for the info!

Yup, your thermostat is a bit rusty, need a new one. Mine runs at the same temp. once warmed up, +30C/90F, or -30C/Idaknow F.
