Factory Remote?

When I purchased my 94 Camry LE a few years back, it only came with the key's...no remote(s). It is fully loaded with all the features including sunroof, power door locks, power windows, leather, cruise, etc, and I was wondering if it is also capable of programming an original remote to unlock/lock the doors. It also has a remote starter (found the sticker about it under the hood), but I still didn't get the chance to get a remote for that. This is the same remote starter that other camry's came with from the factory because I found a 93 Camry on the scrap yeard, with the same remote starter module under the drivers foot/kick panel area[name: Astroflex series 1000], and the same antenna mounted inside of the center top of the windshield..just as I have. Would the remotes for the starter and doors be the same (all in one), or would they be seperate? How do I know if my Camry has the door unlock/lock remote feature?
(Asked previous owner about any remotes and they said they didn't have any? ... don't really beleive that.)

I have a feeling the remote starter is not factory and it was just a coincidence that you saw the exact model on another car. Regardless, as long as you get a remote for the Remote starter (Exact model specific) and the Keyless Entry for 3rd Gen you can program both Remotes to the system you have installed no problem.

Look on ebay for the remotes. If you can't find one on ebay, your Toyota dealer can get you one but it will be expensive

Edit:

Keyless Entry on ebay:

Toyota Keyless entry programming
1994 camry keyless entry remote programming instructions

Astostart/Astroflex on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ASTRO...Q5fAccessories

Astrostart Programming:
If it has a hood pin, open hood , turn on ign step on brake, cycle ign 3 - 4 times lights will flash press start button on EACH remote to be programed. Or dip switch 8 up press brake and hold start button on each remote to be programed [old and new] erases all codes in memory... lights will flash with each remote being accepted...

Thanks. For the remote starter, how do I know if I have a hood pin? (is there a specific location of this pin/switch-...by looking around the borders inside the hood I can't find any switches)

I checked under the driver's seat and I didn't see any black box that is supposed to be the module for the remote (unless I checked the wrong place). So I probably might not have the remote feature...but I should have it since the car has power locks. Did they make remote an option even if you have power locks?
Anyways, I know I have something because of the dual antennas I have mounted inside the top/center of my windshield...it's probably for the remote starter.

Looks like this(except the part in-between the two antenas is more rectangular in shape):

maybe you should call toyota and give them your VIN number. They can tell you what it was equipped with.

Do you have a Security light anywhere?
