3rd Generation Anyone have experience with Monroe Quick Struts?

I have a feeling the struts on my '93 with 195,xxx are original. It's about the same price for me to get KYB struts with mounts, bearings, and seats as it is for a Monroe Quick Strut. I've always had good luck with KYB, but never had any experience with the Monroe's. What's anyone's opinion on them? I just like the fact that it's going to take me about 40 minutes to replace everything.

I have Monroe shocks on my camrys and have no problems.

Installed them:

92 LE - 1 year ago
92 XLE - Previous owner installed them (not sure how long they've been on there)
95 LE - December 2010.

Haven't had any problems with them. Hope that helps

check Monroe Quick Struts pricing on rockauto.com (go by Monroe Part Number Search) ... pretty much cheapest you can get them in USA

take your Monroe part numbers from their e-catalog:
http://www.monroe.com/catalog/ecatalog.asp

I've run for a year and 4 months on monroe's, 11 months of which have been on lowering springs and they seem to be doing just fine. I was told at the time that monroe quality control is not the best.

bleh. alright. that rules out the quick struts. I guess I'll piece together the struts Friday when I go to work. I think I'm going to have to order parts from 3 different vendors just to get everything I need.

Or I may call Toyota on Friday to get pricing on OEM parts. We'll see.
