Power window and door locks 2000 Camry

All,

This has been driving me nuts. I have a 2000 Camry LE that the power windows and door locks don't work. I am so confused by it all. I will give some background in hope it may help.

I got the car from my father in June. The windows were intermittant and the power door locks never worked.

The windows were intermittant and it seemed that if the interior of the car was cool they would work. I replaced the master control switch in the drivers door. I checked all the regular fuses and they were fine. If it was an intermediate temperature inside the car the windows would work slightly. The window motor would start to work, move the window an 1/16 of an inch and quit. After a while, it quit all together. Then I found out about the pink 30 amp slow blow fuse and replaced it. The windows worked for a while but now nothing works.

I diagnosed some parts and the master switch in the drivers door is not getting power. I tried a jumper to supply power while everthing is connected and that did not work well. Nothing worked but it drew an excessive amount of current.

I have read that the system get its power from: POWER M-Fuse, GAUGE Fuse, Power Main Relay, and Integration Relay.

The problem is I do not know where/what these things are. Any ideas?

I have checked all the fuses in the interior and the engine compartment.

Thanks,
Joe
