It's too bad the dealer doesn't know how to replace the brake booster. Maybe the job was given to the lowest cost tech (independent contractor).
A possibility is the master cylinder pistons couldn't release fully, and therefore holding pressure in the master cylinder. There can be many causes, for example, improper push rod adjustment, faulty rebuilt booster, maybe vacuum hose blockage/leak or a problem with the booster air valve, dunno.
See if they'll give another rebuilt booster. Well I'm sure they're all rebuilts. If they use a Cardone then it's got lifetime warranty.
