P0128 and P0300 Code

Hello All,

Got a CEL on the dash. When I pulled the codes. It came up as a P0128 (Faulty Thermostat) and a P0300 (Random Misfires)... Quick question. Will the P0128 also cause the P0300 to come on? Or is there something else I need to look for. Already replaced the wires, plugs, etc. One problem I have is the P0300 does not tell me which cylinder is misfiring. This is a 2001 Camry with the 2.2. Thanks for your help.

Off-Topic but Grand National, sucks that its hot-air though. My cousin has a 87 GN along with his 87 Regal T-Type.

I would replace the thermostat first and see what that does.

No hot air here 1985 was the last of the hotairs. I had an 86 T as well that was built 11.7's was the best I got out of it. 1986 and 1987 T's and GN's were the same. Regardless of the HP ratings on "paper" I'm sure your cousins on Turbobuick.com Also I'm sure your cousin had taken you for a ride in his Turbobuicks.

Will do on the thermostat. Thanks!
