96 1mz timing belt

trying to get new belt back on after replacing 3 seals, 2 cam seals and the crank seal. When pulleys and crak are lined up to marks the marks on new belt wont line up . Is it neccessary for the belt marks to line up or just the cam and crank pulleys ? Any help please>

try switching sides of belt. you may have it left to right

The belt is made by Dayco. Did try both ways with no luck, there are arrows on the belt which I have pointing inward towards engine.

you have it backwards, the narrows should be pointing away from the engine/towards the right fender of the car
the numbers tell you in which order to align the belt
