gen3/4 Scavenger Parts Needed Thread

Heres the deal. Seeing how many of us frequent junkyards in the quest for parts, this thread is designed to offer gen3/4 owners, who either have no access or ability to scavenge parts, a place to post their needs to the gen3/4 community.

Yes there is a forsale/for trade section but this will offer a more visable and specific location for thoes in need of parts to link up with thoes who can get them.

OH, and try to keep the thread chatter to a minimum. I think this will run smoother if we dont congest it with a bunch of talk and keep details to PMs

MOD EDIT: Do not move this thread! -LynchburgCSI

There are various styles of Washer tanks and pumps (j-vin, 4-vin, abs, non-abs). They are all different

Nah, there are a couple different styles. There are a couple different styles for J-Vin and 4-Vin 92-94. There are couple styles for 92-94 w/ ABS, and then in 95 they go under the fender. I know that the Washer Pumps between the J-Vin and 4-Vin are different too (Plugs and out-lets are different)

This is an awesome idea. After visits to several salvage yards, there are a few things that I still can't find.

1. Gen4 5sfe torque strut mounting bracket (& torque strut if it is in good shape)
2. Gen3/3.5 passenger side mirror, paint code 6P2 (classic green)
3. Stereo knobs - the smaller kind that have a stem that fits into recesses in the face of the stereo (I'm kind of ashamed to actually post this but it's really annoying having to use my fingernails to adjust the volume!)

I painted my 94 sedans and switched it over to my 96 coupe with no problem.

We could make this a pay it forward

I have, pretty much a whole 94 le sedan. tranny just went at 313k, im using a few parts for my coupe, but the rest is fair game. Until this weekend anyway.

I need a 6p2 drivers handle, 96 coupe. and if anyone has a tan airbag cover/airbag unit, i might take it off oyur hands. For a 4t.
