Door Squishy!

So the whole squishy thing sounded good to me and I wanted to buy one, but then realized that I use the armrest at the current height and am pretty happy with it. I am six feet tall, so putting the squishy in would probably make the arm rest too high.
Lately I have been feeling some pain in my left elbow when I rest my arm a certain way on the armrest at work and in the car. I pin pointed it to be most noticeable when driving. So with the idea of a squishy in mind, and a problem at hand (or elbow), I did this (sorry about the crappy cell-phone pic) –

We have tons of this shipping foam stuff at work being trashed daily, so I grabbed a piece that was somewhat pre-cut to the shape I used. Then I trimmed some pieces, put double sided tape on the bottom and viola! The color matched my taupe interior well too!
It feels great there! My commute is only eight miles each way, but this sure does help cushion the elbow!

You should put a small, thin piece of wood underneath it and wrap /staple it in the same material the Door panel has on it.

I like that idea though, very cool!

if you do that and one turns out good, you could probably even start making a bunch of them and selling them on TN and make some $$$ too
