Thinking about switching to an Acura or Toyota 4 WD

Well, I'm sure this probably won't win me much credit after the help I've been asking...but lately I am so fed up with how my car looks and what I have to do with it, that I'm thinking of looking for a trade in. I'm at over 218,000 miles. It hit me the other day when I went to the junkyard the other day to get a side view mirror...and thought to myself, my car looks just as bad...in some cases even worse than some of the cars in the junkyard. Hell, it probably belonged there but I kept it out!

My idea is an Acura Legend or a Toyota 4 wheel drive...but it'd most likely be something in the mid to upper 90s. 96 and up.

What you think?

far as i know your gonna have to leave toyota for those year ranges unless you import a car. since 96 the only usdm 4wd toyotas have been the suv/trucks, which case try to find a rav4 they had the 3s engines in them which is close to the 5s so wount be to different.

or if you import good luck finding an alltrac celica and i cant really think of what the other cars would be

Acura Legend or Toyota 4WD, that's quite a range.

It comes down to what do you want out of your car and fits your lifestyle?

Do you drive a lot?
Do you plan to carry passengers regularly?
Do you need to haul stuff?
How important is fuel economy to you?
How much do you want to spend?
What kind of roads do you plan to drive on?

etc...

An Acura Legend is a nice car, my buddy had a '91 Sedan and a '93 Coupe. The newest one you'll find is a 1995.

Toyota 4WD can be a lot of different vehicles. Pickup, Tacoma, 4-Runner, RAV4, a Celica all-trac turbo if you can find one.

the Legend is a great car, you really cant go wrong with it. Cept i herd they had auto tranny issues once they got long in the legs. They are sportier, more powerful, more stylish(some think) and have more aftermarket options if you want to go down that road.
