will turn over but will not run

I have a 92 camry dx 2.2 5sfe 4 cyl i just replace the motor and it started at frist drove down the road fine stoped at a light and started and it felt kinda slugish took it up to abt 5k and it just shut off wouldnt start or anything tryed to turn it over and a big clould of smoke came from under the hood smelld electrical so checked some fuses connections and wires i fried the ground wires next to the time belt replaced those and all and tryed to start it. it turns over but nothing else i check the dsb like everyone says and i get a lil blue spark i got fuel pressure and its in time the rotar turns the timeing belt hasent hoped off either ive tryed three different dsb for all working carmys and its still not starting
do you think i fired something in my ecu?
i need help bc im currently stuck

sounds like you fried some component of the ignition system. the car likely would turnover at all if you damaged the ecu.

you need to think of why the ground wires melted. check for continuity on both ends, you may have an open or shorted circuit somewhere. refer to electrical wiring diagrams to see which circuits use your fried ground wires and go from there.

edit:
you may actually need a replacement wiring harness...
