1992 SV30 Camry Parts substitutes

Hey guys,

i have a 92 Camry (Japanese spec so minor differences from what you guys have in the US) and im pondering on various parts substitution that may be possible...not trying to be cheap or anything, just economical
Basically im in Guyana and dont have the availability of parts like you guys, unless i order from the US which is a PITA... what i do have available is endless supplies of Japanese used parts...not that bad for the prices they sell for but camry parts are a bit of a rarity...

looking mostly in terms of suspension since my car drives like a POS, handles like a POS and feels like a POS but i love the car so i need to get my sh!t together...it needs springs, struts and a RSB (which i didnt get it with but have been driving it without for a long time apparently)...

the previous owner basically drove it until he saw need for a new car, changing only the usual tune up stuff (oil, filter, air filter)

so lets get the party started gentlemen, and i shall post pics with every mod/repair i do on the car, and trust me its ALOT...i'll post up a complete list of things i have to change/fix on the car later

gt balla!!

eh now the hard thing here is that you need to get new parts or else it gonna be still running bad, you can get away with a used rsb, but check ebay for some parts because some sellers will do free shipping,

now just to make sure where you gonna be driving the car in town or out about the bush?

haha car is gonna be used for strictly road driving...not taking it into any bushes lol...or maybe close to the bush haha

new parts is gonna be tough with the amount of low quality junk we have here...

i bought a pair of rear struts for the camry that lasted 5000km...that was heart breaking...no excessive loads, no off roading all of stock springs...

could because you dont have the rsb your adding extra strain to the system hurting it a bit more. look at a few importers my uncle imports office supplies like once a month down there so i'm guessing freight shipping isnt too bad to send anything there.

well after checking up in toyodiy i found that the model i have doesnt come with the rear sway bar from factory so im not sure what implications it would have, not being assembled with one...the mounting points would still be there on the vehicle no?

freight shipping is actually very affordable so i probably will look into it...

i believe the point should be but it i remember correctly the body of yours is like 3 inches narrower than the sv40, i would say try and take a look and see if the mounting points are there and give her a try

will be heading over to a used parts dealer some time this week to see if i can get one for the SV30...well after checking to see if i have the mounting point of course

also next issue...my rear lateral bar is bent...not one of the 2 that bolts to the rear subframe...the one that runs parallel to the side of the car...both sides are bent actually but strangely the wheel is still in the center position...should i leave them or should i replace?

plan on buying a pair sometime soon then...my car is in horrible condition paint wise but other than that its good...just a few fixes it needs suspension and powertrain wise that i wanna deal with b4 painting

any bushings u guys think i should just change out while im dealing with the rear end suspension?

what i have planned to change at once when i deal with the rear is"

strut mounts
lateral rods
new brakes and hoses
install a RSB with new bushings of course
new pair of endlinks of the RSB

after i have the rear sorted ima tackle my front sway bar mounting position...pretty sure its bent out of place
