rear stabilizer bar bracket-to-frame - broken bolt
Hi, the rear sway bar on my '01 Camry is having some issues.
The bracket that 'wraps' around the bushing that goes around the sway bar bolts to another bracket that is bolted to the frame of the vehicle. A bolt broke in there and i either need to repair it or get a new bracket. Online, I have not been able to find it, so I think it is either (a) a visit to a bone yard or (b) dealer (and i fear the price).
You can see where the bolt was busted as i point to it with the silver-colored phillips head screw driver. it is one of those nut-welded-to-the-bracket ordeals that is unlikely to come out. the bracket that wraps around the bushing is the upper piece of metal you see in the pic. the lower piece of metal is the one where i have the issue. a large bolt passes through this holding part of the suspension to the frame (not shown)
Huh, I swear the picture/image was there, but it must have gotten dropped in one of the edits i did. Should be there now, if not, it is here: https://www.stillriver.org/bracket.jpg

Alright all, for the next person who has to do this job:
the part # is 52203-33010. This is for the RH side. I got gouged $47 bucks for it at Acton Toyota (Acton, MA). I found it online for $28 or so, but had it in my hand and decided to take the price like a man.
I am going to do the replacement now, should take 10 mins.
