Oil leak in odd place, 96 camry 4cyl

I have a pretty bad oil leak, I ran the car to see where it was leaking at, and it was coming from what looks to be an electrical plug. If you're standing in front of the vehicle looking at the engine block, the plug is on the far right of the front of the block. The wiring is a very small yellow cord and I'm guessing its a sensor of some type. You can pull the wire out of the plug and nothing shoots out, but on the back side of the plug oil is leaking about a drop per second. I was going to just take the entire plug off and see if there was a seal or something, but being as its plastic I don't want to break it. anybody know what this thing is and how its leaking?

Are you talking about the oil sending unit? It would be best to take a picture of it and post it here, so everyone is sure what you are describing.

Just looked those up and yeah, that's exactly what it is. I'm going to go replace mine and that should fix it. Thanks for the help man.
