You can buy an RS3000 unit from me. I have a 99 Camry and that was the security system that came with it. I have everything except the remote, but you can get those on eBay or at the dealer.

Consider aftermarket, bro! I can even help you out with install instructions.

get RS3000 from junk yard or ebay, those were common on '98-99 camry (and many other models) according to Toyota TSB:
http://www.etimago.com/yaris/TSB/TS-...ng%20Guide.pdf

instruction and manuals:
http://www.parksoffroad.com/tacomamo.../alarminfo.htm
http://www.4runners.org/writeups/rs3000/index.html
(camry ECU location is different than on 4runner - under seat)

or go aftermarket

I wanted to do the same thing, but I gave up because I never came across a Camry with the alarm or even the harness. Just go aftermarket.

I have an RS3000 ECU, but I'm not sure if it works.
