Couple of interior questions...

I'm interested in buyng a pair of tan leather Lexus SC400 front seats for the 96 coupe I'm bringing home this weekend, because the Lexus seats have the power sliding rear-access feature on the passenger's side and one of the Cam's front seats is ripped anyway. Anyone familiar with that sort of fab be able to give me an estimate on what kind of effort and time they think it would take? I know someone who put Subaru Legacy seats into a VW bus in less than a day, just not sure if power wiring could make things messy or not...

Also, the car has a three-disc in-dash slave CD player with a removable cartridge. Is that just a really rare option or something? Because I can't seem to find much information about them anywhere; I'll have to check toyotareference when I can get internet access with my laptop, working from the Droid right now lol.

Last thing: Indiglo gauges. Worth it or not? Like to hear from the people who've done it and see what their impressions are on whether or not it's worth the time and money.

Thanks to whomever can help!

the seats i have no idea how much fab work if it was a supra direct drop in, yours might need a little cut and weld on the rails, wiring if you can pick up a bit of the wiring from the doner ans it be easy enough to find what you need

3-disk? i got it, rare yes, get it? sure i love mine, just a little annoying when you want to put in a single disk because you have to wait for it to eject, but i use my mp3 player all the time so it's great takes like a week for me to listen to all 3 cd's because i only listen to them on short trips

indigo, it's your thing go for it, just remember to reset the air bag computer because wiring it in turns the light on or something i dont know ground a pin something something

the seats can fit, but they wont just bolt in place. the other issue ya may have to consider is that they are bigger and may not fit, not sure though.

indiglo gauges...thats your choice. they do nothing but look different, if you like the look then its worth the time.

Supra seats? Interesting... Have to look into that too, I didn't even think of those. So long as they still slide forward, or my backseat passengers would be buggin'. Also wanted to do the Lexus shifter if I can find a relatively cheap parts car to pillage. Althouugh Sebring seats and shifter are much the same; might be cheaper too.

Also, thanks goes out to ASG14, I'd forgotten to check back on my last thread and saw that he put up the pictures, and I can see why that might scare some people away... o.0 But I have several friends that do bodywork that may be able to do that, now funds for all these projects is gonna be the next magic trick haha.
