Is there a neutral safety switch on manual 93 SE?

Just as title says. Is there a neutral safety switch on the manual 92-93 MANUAL TRANSMISSION cars? If so which color?

Explain what you mean. I've not heard of "neutral switch". Maybe it goes by a different term.

Automatics use a neutral safety switch so they don't start in gear. Some vehicles with a manual transmission also use them like some mazdas hondas and mitsu. Most bikes use them as well.

I just got through installing a 5701 viper and would prefer to use a neutral safety switch wire if there is one. I do not like the manual start initialization process but will use it if there is no neutral safety switch wire available. Safety is always 1st

I thought that all Manual Toyota's didn't have them but after checking the catalog I had a listing (84540-32090), the EWD shows a black-white wire going to the ecm.

No, but it uses a clutch start switch, which is right behind the pedal.

I have the clutch bypassed already and it starts fine when in auto mode mode just to test. I just didn't know if someone had a fsm and could check.

I will check the blk/wh wires at ecu unless anyone else has input.

Manual doesn't have a NSS. There's a clutch start switch, but if you've bypassed that, you're able to start in any gear without the pedal in...so just make sure you start in neutral only.

theres a split for A/T and M/T.

search for the es300 repair manual which deals with the 3vz, since the camry manual deals with the 1mz
