Malfunctioning Tachometer
Now that I've cleared up my overheating issues, I'm working on a small project that has been on the back burner. My Tach died about a year ago. I first noticed that once or twice a year or two back my tach would not work. However, turning the engine on and off solved the problem. Eventually, my tach began to read way too slow, and eventually stopped working entirely. occasionally when I really rev the engine the needle will twitch, but that is it. I think the connection might be gummed up in the engine compartment, but I have no idea where the sensors that feed the tach are located.
