Which kind of Iridium? IIRC, the 3VZ uses a distributor waste spark system and benefits from the use of a certain type of spark plug.

well, they are also SPECIFIED for gen4 camry, solaras and so on, only difference vs OEM factory design (double ground electrode) is the Iridium-IX have a single ground, so they last up to roughly half the time double ground OEM plugs in a waste spark system ...
NGK Iridium Plug # BCPR6EIX-11, according to NGK's site this is the proper plug for the 1993 3VZFE....
Looks like those are the Iridium IX plugs. They'll work perfectly fine, but i'm pretty sure you're supposed to stick with Laser Platinums. edit: Yep, posts above confirm that.

There is a sticker that even says not to use single electrode plugs on the 1mz, pretty sure its the same for the 3vz too.
According to what Lynch posted you need, NGK Laser Platinum BCPR6EP-11 or Toyota Denso Plugs. Doing the rear bank plugs is not much fun as it is. I wouldn't want to replace them again in another 30k miles.
How long do the OEM plugs last? I had the Toyota Dealer replace my current ones around 30K miles ago?.......
I assume they used Toyota Denso Double Platinum, so it should last for another 90k miles if I'm not mistaken. Service Interval says to replace Double Platinum plugs every 120k.
