More information about your ride, and rims your running would be helpful. Could be wrong offset on your rims

I run 215/55/17 on 09 SE rims on my 96 Camry without rubbing issues, and it's lowered on H&R's...

3rd Generation

Id assume its the offset of the rims b/c thats what tire Im running and I have no problems lowered on Eibachs. Sounds like you need a fender roll.
Got any pics?

Aren't 225's a bit to wide for the camry?

^Depends on the offset of the wheels themselves. I've personally only upsized 1cm, to 205.. I don't see a need for any larger unless the wheels call for it. The only way to fix it is as 4cyler said, to roll the fenders. If the rubbing is bad you might even need to pull it.

IIRC after purchase I had Fuzion ZRi 225/55/R16 (or something close, need to double check) on rear rims (OEM) on my '02 Solara V6 after purchase. there shouldn't be any rubbing issues on camry either?? it's the same suspension.

pic of such tires mounted on rear OEM 16'' rims on car, no issues (rim is damaged though hehe)

However 225/55/16 is too wide for OEM rims in front, tires will be rubbing the strut towers.

Normally 16'' OEM tire size is 205/60/16.

Actually I think my tires may be 205s But there still shouldnt be any rubbing problems unless the offset is too much for the car.
