4th Generation Which tie rod ends to buy?

My 2001 needs new outer tie rods because the boots are leaking grease. Which brand should i get? I was checking out rock auto and there are a lot of brands but I don't see a toyota brand one listed. Should i go to the dealership and buy one or what? I've always run moog in my truck but I don't know what these cars prefer.

thanks

I dunno .. I've put cheapos on my camry before and they lasted just as long as the OEM. I like the aftermarket ones anyways because they have a grease fitting so you can service them.

I would get Moog only.

check your part number here:
http://www.moog-suspension-parts.com...s.asp?cat=1813

then look for it either in local Advance Auto parts (use $20 off $50 EM2 or $25 off $60 BIG25 or 20% off P20 coupons for online order and pickup locally) or order from rockauto.com even cheaper

A lot of people say go with Moog usually. They are normally the better of the bunch, although do cost the most of the bunch.

I'll confirm this with and installation of an "el cheapo" from one of the large discount chains that was worn out in 6 months!! Surprisingly I found a GOOD set of moogs on a car in the junkyard and they are still fine after 2 years.

Spend the extra bucks on the moog or take the gamble.
