4th Generation 2001 Dash Kit for Radio?

I've been looking around and the only dash kits i've found for my 2001 is a single din with no pocket. I've got a single din aftermarket unit i'll be installing but since i have a 2-din stock unit, there will be a gap. Any links or anything to where i can find one with a pocket? I've seen a FEW 2002 ones but i think the radios changed in that year? I'm not too sure.

help would be great. thanks.

I went onto crutchfield and found that this is actually the pocket. How does the aftermarket actually secure to the vehicle though?

Seems a bit confusing lol sorry

It bolts to the radio bracket on each side under the headunit. If you get the headunit from Crutchfeild you get pocket storage, harness and instructions free. Instructions tell how to do install everything.

Thanks. I've already got a headunit from my previous vehicle. Im mainly just confused because i took the OEM radio out today and it has 4-10mm bolts holding it on and theres really no bracket for the single-din i have ready to put in so I'm just thrown off on securing the unit to the dash

The same brackets holding the current radio in will hold both the new single din HU and the pocket. You gotta unbolt the 4 10 mm screws you see, take the radio out, then take the brackets off the radio.

Awesome, thanks man.

I hope the tweeters by the mirrors on the front doors are tied into the front speaker wires because on harnesses i've found they all say 4-speaker and i have 6
