ECM Location and a few other ?'s...

Hello everyone! I have a 1998 Camry LE, 4cyl automatic. I just purchased the vehicle about 3 months ago with 80,000 miles on it. This morning, the check engine light came on with a P0773. I noticed a difference in my RPM's since they are higher than before during hwy. speeds. I researched the code and am ready to start testing. My first question is where is the ECM located? According to test procedures, I need to test the circuit (wire) from the ECM to the solenoid valve SL.

My second question is I have looked tirelessly for a repair manual on the internet and keep getting torrents for the generation above and below mine. Does anyone have a manual I can get other than the auto parts store?

Thirdly, I am considering a plus 2 wheel and tire package form my Camry. The height issue is not a concern since plus 1 or plus 2 sizing takes care of this but what about tire width? When I check the clearance between the tire and strut in the rear, there really is not much room. has anyone had problems with this as well? BTW I have drum brakes in the rear.

Thanks everyone!

The ECM is located behind the glove box. its fairly simple to remove with a screwdriver and 10mm socket.

Also, we cant post direct links to factory service manuals.

Thanks rusty9, I appreciate it. I am not asking for a "post" to a link but a pointer in the right direction would be nice.

Update! for P0773 Code

This is a pic of the Solonoid Shift Valve SL or "E". The toyota dealer knows it as valve #3. I tried to find this at an auto parts store and did not have any luck. They all seem to have the solonoid valves that go on the inside of the pan but not this one. For all who are curious, I did NOT check NAPA. I ohm tested the old one and I got nothing, although when I energized it I did hear it clicking. The ohm reading should be between 8 and 15 ohms. I installed it today, cleared the code and it ran like it should. RPM's were back to normal and I assume my mileage should go back up. Checked to see if I had any pending codes when I got home and nothing, notta! This is a very simple circuit. Basically the wire runs straight to the ECM. If the solenoid is not bad, then the wire needs to be tested. If that is good than chances are it is the ECM.
The valve is right behind the Neutral/Safety switch connector. The one with the black switch connector, not the white. Kinda hard to see. The neutral/safety switch needs to be removed in order to get to the two bolts to pull the valve out. CLEAN the area before you remove the valve! no need to have bits of dirt falling into the valve body. If I missed anything, please weigh in.
