New Camry

Im going to purchase a camry and right now im looking at a 1993 LE V6 with 119k and a 1997 LE I4 with around 150k.

Which camry is better and your opinion and what should i look at for potential problems before i make a decision.

Thank you.

I'd go for the 97. The cost of ownership will be a bit cheaper (better mpg with the 4cyl and its easier to work on). Insurance costs will be basically the same too.

However, if the 93 is much cheaper Id get it. Watch out for rust though. Gen4 camry's (97-01) are in my opinion much more rust resistant then the earlier ones.

But you need to give us $$$ and condition of each car before we can get you more info.

Personally, I'd wait it out a bit more.. neither of those seem fair for the price they are asking for. Just my opinion though.
