the best plugs for the 2.2?

My wife has a '94 Camry with the 2.2 engine. It died last week and while I was troubleshooting it I pulled one of the plugs and noticed that the electrode was pretty badly worn. I'm getting new plugs (NGK) but I'm wondering how much better the platinums and iridiums are against the copper cored plugs? Also how many miles are the copper cored plugs good for? I've got about 18 months on the current plugs but she drives alot.

I'd usually get Iridium P36 Explosive Space Modulators' from Advance auto but they never have any in stock, so I usually get NGK Iridium IX instead they work really well

NGK Iridium-IX.

If you want to save a few dollars try NGK G-Power platinums. These have a thinner center electrode for better performance. But go with Iridium-IX.

Mind if I asked what's the real difference between these spark plugs? I mean sure you get what you pay for but will there really be a big difference between the NGK IX or the NGK Platinum?

I need new plugs...I think I still have stock lolol.

replacing plugs on 4 cylinder is easy, so get the NGK Iridium-IX and be happy. replace them again between 30-60k though.

if you want something lasting twice as long, go with NGK Laser Platinum or Denso Double Platinum (both are factory OEM), lasting like 90-120k miles.
