thoes people may be said to be wrong. the GC sleeve and Koni adjustables are popular with some of teh accord people as well. but thoes who have actually bought quality coilovers would shoot them down. here, some do tokico and CG but the tokicos are not good for dumping and are not stiff enough. Konis can be but they still wont be able to handle a high spring rate. But with teh lifetime warranty, most choose this option to avoid modifying stock stuff.

the issue is...people are comparing spring (or CG)/ stut combo to coilover and there is no comparison. coilovers are designed to offer a very controlled suspension with several ways of adjustment...and be insanely easy to work with...which they are. the Koni / CG is a middle ground between coilover and spring strut.

im not saying it can or cant be done, nor am i saying it wouldnt be good. but better then a coilovers system? no...(unless its D2-poo) we have had people inquire about this but no one that i know of has found it to be worth the effort. the setup your talking about would be about the same as a set of K-sport control pros...or my awesome coilovers if i part in a couple weeks.
