Filler Neck

Hello All, I am about to replace the filler neck in my 96 Camry with a used filler neck... I want to replace the hoses with new ones... do I need to get them from Toyota? Do they need to be ordered? can I get them at an auto parts store? is there a specific part name? Thanks!

I replaced my filler neck about 2 yrs ago, and wondered the same thing. Some idiot had replaced the small hose with a piece of water/heater hose. I got a piece of gas line hose at the local parts store. The large one is however a problem. I couldn't find anything on-line or locally. It's probably a dealer item....but, if the original isn't torn or hardened up, just clean the inside of each end and re-use it. I smeared some seal-all on the fittings ends at the neck and gas tank just to be sure and tightened the clamps. No leaks since. Be careful of overtightening the clamps. If they are original, you're in luck. If they have been replaced with hardware store or garage-issue standard SS hose clamps, they will strip very easily if overtightened.

All the info you require is DIY: Fuel Filler Tube Replacement Procedure (GEN3) .

In the future, for any DIYs, please refer to the Comprehensive List. If you have any questions the list didnt answer, then feel free to ask on the forum. Thanks.
